Accommodations at our Grand Cayman Vacation Rentals fill up well in advance,
especially during the in season period. So in order to avoid scheduling problems we
strongly advise making your reservations as early as possible. If you have any questions

Entry Requirements
Notice: As of January 23, 2007 – US Citizens will be required to provide a current US
Passport for all air and sea travel to or from Canada, Mexico, Central and South America,
the Caribbean, and Bermuda. Birth certificate, driver's license and other similar documents
will no longer be accepted.
From the US Department of State (www.travel.state.gov)
U.S. Citizens traveling as tourists or attending meetings can enter the Cayman Islands
with a U.S. Passport, a naturalization certificate or an original, certified birth certificate and
photo identification. Persons traveling with U.S. Passports tend to encounter fewer
difficulties when departing than those who choose to use other documents. U.S. Citizens
traveling to the Cayman Islands for work must obtain a temporary work permit from the
Department of Immigration of the Cayman Islands, telephone (345) 949-8344.
There is a departure tax for travelers age 12 and older, which is regularly included in
airfare. For further information travelers may contact Cayman Islands Department of
Tourism offices in Miami at (305) 599-9033, New York (212) 889-9009, Houston
(713) 461-1317 and Chicago (630) 705-0650. See the Foreign Entry Requirements
brochure for more information on the Cayman Islands and other countries. Please
remember to keep all paperwork given to you by customs officials as they may be required
when departing.
Getting Around
Taxi service is available on Grand Cayman, however, most visitors find it easier to secure
their own mode of transportation. Vehicle rental is the most popular option though bicycle
and moped rentals are available as well. In order to drive any vehicle in Grand Cayman, as
in most countries, you must possess a valid international drivers license. We do have a
preferred rental company for guest who wish to utilize this service and information will be
supplied when making a reservation request.
